Aytuğ Ülgen's works fall into two basic categories for copyright purposes:

Original Works — Works he has composed entirely himself (e.g. the opera Barsisa – First Assembly of the Seven Sessions). The usage and licensing terms for these works are determined separately, based on the current rights and contractual status of the specific work.

Arrangements / Adaptations — Orchestrations, arrangements or restorations of existing works by other composers (opera, ballet, musical — e.g. the orchestration of The Rite of Spring). For these works, Ülgen holds rights to his own original arrangement/orchestration; however, rights belonging to the work's original composer — where the work is not in the public domain — must be obtained separately from the relevant rights holders or publishers.
